Considering Ravens: poems, parables, piths, & pictures

"Considering Ravens" is a willy-nilly journey into a wonder-found world-this book contains a wanderer's collection of poems, parables, piths, & pictures gathered from the vast residency of the cosmos over a ten-year period. In some small way, this word horde is an ode to the Master of Wordsmithery: Shel Silverstein.

Like ravens collecting titbits, treasures, and trinkets, this book invites you to wander through the magical and the mundane, the transcendent and the tangible, and the infinite and the intimate. Explore fantasy, string theory, Bigfoot, childhood, and more as you dig through the topics ranging from the magnificence of giants and the wisdom of trees to the enigma of dragons and the playfulness of faeries.

Herein lies the yarn of a complex string of beings batted and knitted into a misaligned sweater from your aunt-with one arm dangling longer than the other. "Considering Ravens" is the scrapbook of the lithering lathe of loquaciousness of my heart and a nudge to pocket your own wonder in the way of ravens.

If you're a seeker of mystery or a dreamer of dreams, this collection offers a slathering of decadent nonsense, a company of wilderment, a clear view of obscurity, and a fireside for your hangry soul. Carry a satchel while you go about your ways and discover the mysteries of the obtuse, the beauty of the wily, and the power of wonder.

In days of old, we would have sat around the fire and shared these gems. This book is my invite to come, sit, and warm yourself awhile.
